Gear up for the Brooklyn Book Festival with a free performance of The Storyteller's Candle, our one-woman storytelling piece about Pura Belpre, the first Puerto Rican librarian in the New York City Library System. Through a blend of storytelling, music and puppetry, young audiences will learn about Puerto Rican folklore and the library’s important role in the community.
