PARENT-CHILD WORKSHOPS
Making Books Sing offers three fun-filled opportunities for parents to get involved in our theatre productions and their children's education. For us, uniting parents with their kids in quality creative experiences is among our most prized efforts. We invite parents to share our performances and parent-child workshops with their children, either as part of their family time or involvement with school, PTA or community groups.
SCHOOLTIME PERFORMANCES
Parents can recommend our production to their children's classroom teachers. You will expose your child and his entire class to great theatre, with the added benefit of spending extra time with your child. Make the reservation and you and your child will attend for free -- our applause for getting involved in your child's education!

WEEKEND PERFORMANCES
You and your family can share a wonderful experience at the theatre, packed with live music, laughter, beautiful sets, lights and costumes, and so much more.
Your group of 15 or more (from birthday parties to community groups to book clubs) can benefit from special rates. Performances will be held in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. We look forward to welcoming you to the theatre.

PARENT-CHILD WORKSHOPS
Our unique family workshops bring families and educators together to create drama, art or music (and sometimes all three) based on our production and the book it is based upon. If your child's class is attending the production, we can tailor a series of two to six evening workshops, either before or after the show, at your child's school. Or, come to our weekend performances when we have lots of great activities from read alouds by special guests to meet the actors to art workshops based on the production. Keep an eye out on our website for upcoming events.
