Making Books Sing Artistic Director Barbara Zinn Krieger is the NY1 New Yorker of the Week!

Barbara works tirelessly to bring theater and arts education to students all over the city, and it is so great to see her efforts acknowledged like this.

Making books sing has officially booked over 200 workshops of Alice’s Story, our interactive anti-bullying performace and workshop, in over 30 schools and community centers! We are also proud to be listed on the New York City Council website as an organization offering anti-bullying programs.

This past Monday, I attended my first Gala with Making Books Sing as we held our 2^nd Annual Gala on February 6, 2012 at the swanky Manhattan Penthouse.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I arrived on the 17^th floor, but the view was incredible:
