PARENT-CHILD WORKSHOPS

Making Books Sing has fun-filled opportunities for parents and children to explore children's books together through drama, art, storytelling and songwriting. Our Parent-Child Workshops bring families and educators together to:

  • Create drama, art or music based on the production and book
  • Reinforce the importance of the arts in their home and school lives
  • To share their creativity with each other

Making Books Sing Parent-Child Workshops can be linked to Schooltime or Weekend Performances. We will work with your school to tailor a program that fits the interests of your parents and the needs of your students. Workshops are available during the evening, weekend, after-school and school-day.

We invite you to review our Anthologies from Public School 197 and Public School 39 as examples of our Parent-Child Workshops.
